- maintain and conduct inventory control in warehouse
- deliver and pick up food orders throughout Fayette and Westmoreland Counties
- ability to operate a fork-lift and electric pallet jack
- lift 50 pounds

Qualifications include:
- must possess a valid driver’s license with no violations
- 2 years warehouse experience

Responsibilities include:

- Manage a caseload of high-risk clients

- Provide support and referrals

- Maintain appropriate paperwork in files

- Maintain confidentiality

Requirements include:

 - Bachelors of Science in Social Work or related field

- 1 year experience

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to multi-task

Kitchen Staff/Cook – full time

Responsibilities include:
- Preparation of meals for senior population according to menu plan, portion control, and temperature requirements
- physical inventory of food supplies
- early morning start time
- must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
- the ability to work as a team with minimal supervision is required.

Qualifications: High school graduate/GED, ServSafe certified; excellent organizational and communication skills.

Volunteers needed for Meals on Wheels and Food Bank!

Volunteering for Meals on Wheels is a great way to make a huge impact in as little as just 1 hour a day. When you deliver meals, you bring nutritious food and a friendly visit to people in our community.

When you volunteer at the Food Bank, you help provide food to families in need. Volunteering at the Food Bank includes packing food boxes for up to a couple hours a day. The Food Bank is located in Republic, PA.

For individuals who are interested in volunteering, please contact:

724-437-6050 ext. 4276 if you are 55 years and older.

FCCAA programs are currently following guidelines to ensure the safety of our volunteers and participants.


Farmers Market Checks for WIC Participants and Senior Citizens

The WIC Farmers Market Nutrition Program and Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program provide WIC participants and low income seniors with locally grown fruits and vegetables from approved farmers in PA.  Below is information regarding applications and checks for each program:   
 
WIC:
Farmers market checks will be distributed to WIC participants throughout the summer months at their regularly scheduled WIC appointment.  If you have questions regarding your WIC appointment, please contact the Uniontown WIC office at 724-437-6050 ext. 3211. Eligible participants will receive 4 $6.00 vouchers for a total of $24.00.
 
Senior citizens:
Applications for the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) will be accepted via mail or email.  SFMNP provides low income seniors with fresh, nutritious, locally grown fruits, vegetables, and herbs from approved farmers in PA. 
 
To qualify you must be 60 years or older (or turn 60 by 12/31/2020) and meet the following household income guideline: 
1 household member – total income can’t exceed $23,606
2 household members – total income can’t exceed $31,894
 
Once the application is received, a set of 4 checks, valued at $6 each for a total of $24, will be mailed to the residence of the senior citizen making the request.
