Maplewood Adult Day Center - “HOME AWAY FROM HOME”

Maplewood Adult Day Center is a stimulating alternative to daytime home life for the adult experiencing deterioration in physical, social, emotional or mental abilities. At the Maplewood Adult Day Center, your loved one will enjoy both group activities and individualized assistance. Both of these promote independence through physical and mental exercises.

Your loved one will not be the only one with a new and positive outlook on life. As a caregiver, you will also enjoy the freedom the center will bring to you! You will be able to work outside of the home, maintain social commitments and be active in your community.

The Fayette County Community Action Agency (FCCAA) Maplewood Adult Day Center operates on a flexible schedule to meet the needs of family caregivers. Maplewood Adult Day Center is open from 7am—6pm, Monday through Friday. All holidays observed by FCCAA will be observed at Maplewood Adult Day Center.

  • Individualized care plans are developed to meet the needs of each, individual participant.
  • Scheduled attendance days are developed to meet the needs of participants and families.
  • Daily socialization, recreational and exercise opportunities are available for participants.
  • Special trips, outings and outdoor activities are also scheduled—transportation is provided for these events.
  • Fun games, crafts and entertainment for your loved one.
  • Nutritional meals and snacks are provided daily.
