The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), formerly known as Food Stamps, helps Pennsylvania residents purchase foods through an Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) ACCESS card. Often, families are unaware of SNAP benefits or how to access them. FCCAA’s SNAP Outreach Coordinator assists individuals in applying for SNAP benefits.
The SNAP Outreach Coordinator travels to various locations throughout Fayette County to assist eligible families with the SNAP application. The SNAP Outreach Coordinator is able to complete the application at an individual’s home if they are 60 years and older.
