Sweet Thai Chili Pork with Vegetables Recipe

In Fayette County, there are over 20,000 people at risk of hunger. One in five children do not know how, when or where their next meal will be provided.  Because of this great need, Fayette County Community Action Agency, Inc. (FCCAA) will hold our 7th Annual Empty Bowls event on Sunday, April 24, 2022, from 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM at the FCCAA Community Service Center, 137 North Beeson Avenue, Uniontown, PA 15401. This event runs completely through donations from the community, and all proceeds go to support the Fayette County Community Action Food Bank, which serves 59 food pantries located throughout the county.

For the event, hundreds of handcrafted ceramic bowls will be created and donated by local groups and individuals of all ages. During the event, each attendee will receive a handmade bowl to keep. In addition to the bowl, attendees will receive a take-out container of soup. Menu items will be donated from top local restaurants and chefs.

Tickets for the event are $15 in advance and a limited number of $20 tickets available at the door.  For every dollar raised through the event, our Food Bank can purchase ten dollars in food items!
