About Fayette Gives

Fayette Gives is a “day of giving” hosted by the Community Foundation of Fayette County that aims to build a stronger Fayette by engaging the community in philanthropy and supporting local charities.

During this fundraising marathon, we encourage you to donate to the participating charities – all of which are making a positive impact in Fayette County.

As a special incentive, Fayette Gives donations received at CFFC by 8 p.m. on Fayette Gives day will be enhanced by a prorated percentage of the bonus pool.

CFFC hosted the first annual Fayette Gives in 2020 and hopes to grow its success for years to come.

How Fayette Gives Works

1. Eligible charities register to participate on this website, by the registration deadline each year.
2. Members of the public search this website for participating Fayette County charities that fit their areas of interest.
3. On Fayette Gives day, starting at 8 a.m., website visitors will donate online to their favorite charities. The website will display live results with leaderboards. Donors can also donate by check, made out to CFFC and mailed to CFFC with a Check Contribution Form. All donations received at CFFC by 8 p.m. on Fayette Gives day will be enhanced by a prorated percentage of the bonus pool.
4. At 8 p.m. donations will close and the preliminary results will be displayed on the website.
5. Charities will receive their Fayette Gives checks after the event, with their bonus pool dollars added to their donations from the public.
