Cooking Classes

Are you a pregnant person or have at least one child in your household under the age of 2? If so, Fayette County Community Action Agency, Inc.’s (FCCAA) FREE Cooking Classes with Chef Crystal are designed to support you, your growing family and your hectic lifestyle.

Cooking classes are held monthly on a Tuesday from 1 to 3 p.m. at 137 North Beeson Avenue in Uniontown. Recipes feature iron-rich foods to support the nutritional needs of participants. In addition to the hands-on experience participants gain through the classes, they also receive a gift bag filled with the food, ingredients and cooking tools needed to prepare the recipes at home.

Each class concludes with a family-style meal to sample the recipe, first-hand.
